In Classroom + Hands On Instruction
Our highly trained and experienced instructors talk through many concepts, such as: the basics of PPE, saw safety features, reactive forces, directional felling, reducing down time (RDT) and escape planning.
After time in the classroom, training continues in the field, allowing each student an opportunity to receive personal instruction and guidance in: directional felling, demonstration of understanding an escape plan, limbing and bucking.
Meals
During our open enrollment classes, Forest Apps provides meals and refreshments for our students. For breakfast, we will cater a continental breakfast along with coffee and beverages. For lunch, we are often in the field, students will be provided a boxed lunch and beverages,
