Location: The Rugged Quarter, Trussville, AL 

Purpose: Five Day Train the Trainer program designed to give the chain saw operator a strong working knowledge of chain saw applications in the outlined curriculum. Detailed enough to give the participant the ability to explain and transfer the class knowledge to others. The training is not only for those instructing but for those who desire extensive chain saw training with the ability to understand and explain what they learned.

DAY 1 only - NOW OPEN for ENROLLMENT....

Day One –  IL3 Workshop - An overview of Planning, Maintenance and Applications of Chain Saw Operation.   $50.00 (open to large group enrollment)

Cost: $850 (all five days)FULL

Day Two thru Five - $800.00 (14 participants maximum, must have attended a Forest Applications Training, Inc. basic day one)

Topics:

Day 1- Consists of ½ inside ½ outside. A most important day covering an overview of the week’s techniques and objectives. Great for new and experienced operators and must be attended to continue the rest of the week. If we have you on record as attending a previous Forest Applications Training, Inc. program in the past five years you are not required to take this first day of the course. Now only $50  (Regular $150 - You save $100) 

 

The Rest of the Week Trainer Workshop is FULL....

 

Day 2- Hands-on planning, felling, reactive forces, P.P.E. safety use, 

Day 3- Hands-on felling, wedge use, spring poles, reduced down time, sharpening,

Day 4- Hands-on felling, limbing, bucking, storm damage, tip lines,

Day 5- Conclude hands-on field work, teaching/instructor recap

Lunch will be provided each day. All other meals and expenses are on your own.

Each participant completing all 5 days will receive a Forest Applications Training, Inc. eBook, Cross-Sight, Program Certificate and a T-shirt.

As with all Forest Applications Training, Inc. classes the format is Competitive Response. This means you could take home a new chain saw or other prizes.

*The course may be no charge (free) to you, if you are good, offset by rewards.
